The Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) has advised shareholders to review the annual report of companies.
A press statement issued by the CMDA specifically regarding shareholders of companies stated that listed public companies will issue their annual reports at this time of the year and advised shareholders to review these reports.
So far Dhiraagu, Amana Takaful, State Trading Organisation (STO), Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and the Bank of Maldives (BML) have published their annual reports on the companies’ websites.
While the CMDA advises shareholders to review the annual reports of companies, some companies have concluded the year with a considerable amount handed out as dividends while shareholders of other companies ended up empty handed.
