State Trading Organisation (STO) has revealed of efforts are underway to launch an outlet to offer repair services to three of their brands.
STO Managing Director Shahid Ali said that the outlet in Haveeree Hingun will be opened by next month. He said that the outlet will offer repair services to Philips, Makita and Hitachi items.
“At present, these items are being offered to our customers with extended warranties. Hence the purpose of this outlet is to offer repair services to these brands,” Shahid said.
STO detailed that the items sold with warranties will be repaired for free at this outlet.
STO added that while warranties are being issued to the items sold at their outlets, this outlet would increase the quality of the services being offered by STO.
While STO is trying to establish a service centre, it has started issuing two years of international warranty for Philips products.
