Wataniya Telecom Maldives has launched its first "self-payment kiosk" machine in Maldives.

Wataniya informed that with this real-time payment kiosk, its customers can now top-up credit, or even pay their monthly bills on the touch-screen instantly.

Customers need to follow a series of simple steps to perform the payment of Recharge or Bill Pay. The kiosk accepts Maldivian currency denominations MVR5, MVR10, MVR20, MVR50 and MVR100.

“Once again, we’re taking advantage of new technologies and innovative trends to provide our customers with an easy payment solution. Self-payment facilities are popular across the world – they are simple, effective and efficient. We’re proud to be the first to provide this experience for our customers in the country,” Director of Wataniya Customer Relations Management, Philip Joseph said.

The first payment kiosk is located in the Wataniya Experience Centre in Majeedhee Magu. More are expected to be placed across Male over the next few weeks.
