Maldives Exhibition and Conference Services (MECS) has said that more than 4,000 businessmen had visited the Hotel Asia Exhibition and International Culinary Challenge held in Dharubaaruge which ended yesterday.
MECS informed that the exhibition organized by the South Asia Exhibition Services (SAES) and MECS received huge support. Speaking about the largest culinary fair held in the Maldives, Director of MECS, Mohamed Ajmal said that a lot of the general public had also visited the fair.
“Large numbers of people visited the fair including. We are counting the numbers as we speak,” Ajmal said.
Ajmal said that the result of the fair held from Monday till Wednesday, was higher than expected. He noted that this is the fair in which the most number of stalls had been made.
The fair consisted of 150 stalls in which equipment needed for resorts, food items, construction material and items for seafarers were showcased.
