DJ Workshops

Objective

To create a workshop facility catering to aspirant persons pursuing a career within the music industry as a 'DJ'

  • That educates theories of the 'DJ', the equipment required and career guidance to an industry standard

  • That promotes the partnered organizations and brands

  • That promotes the sales of 'DJ' products

  • That promotes the overall music industry

Structure

Scheduled for a daily roster, the workshops are to allow flexibility to instructors, clients and venue in regards to the timetable. Running 30 minutes in length with concentrated tutorials aimed at a step by step learning method (APPENDIX A) for every aspect of the DJ industry.

The instructors (DJ Kina and DJ Big Boyd) are industry professionals experienced in both the analogue system (vinyl setup) and/or the digital system (cd or mp3 setup) with teaching skills and an understanding to individual client needs. DJ Kina performed live at BOUNCE!2006 held at Kuda Bandos in December 2006. DJ Big Boyd works alongside DJ Kina in all major gigs by Blackstar Media in Australia. DJ profiles are included (APPENDIX B).
