President Nasheed to take vacation this week

President Mohamed Nasheed has said that he planned to take a vacation soon. He made the announcement during his weekly radio address to the nation.
The President said that he planned to take the 30-day vacation, granted to him by law, sometime during this week.
President Nasheed said on Friday that he had been working very hard non-stop for a long time and that he wanted to let everyone know that he planned to take a vacation during the coming week. This is the first vacation that the President will take since he was elected into office on 11 November, 2008.
The President did not say whether he had set a specific destination to spend his vacation. According to the law, the President, Vice President and their respective families are entitled to a 30-day annual leave paid for by the Government.
