MoreHulhumale raw house owners selected

MALE, September 25 (HNS) – Owners for eight out of the 12 raw houses to be constructed in Hulhumale have been selected.
The other four raw houses were bought earlier after full payment.
According to Housing Development Corporation (HDC), the eight were selected from 25 out of 29 eligible participants for Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) loan.
The corporation said the selected people paid Rf120,000 as booking fee. While a raw house costs Rf2.5 million, agreements will be signed on October 6, the corporation added.
The corporation stressed that the owners can pay over a period, including the 20 percent down payment to be paid by the owners and the other 80 percent to be paid by HDFC as loan.
Rf472,800 should be paid as down-payment for the three storey raw houses.
The joint venture company carrying out the Rf16 million project said the work will be completed by 2011.
