Israeli doctors to conduct eye surgery in IGMH

MALE, November 24 (HNS) – A team of Israeli doctors is to perform eye surgeries at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Male Health Services Corporation (MHSC) Media Coordinator Zeenath Ali said a seven-doctor team, which includes four Israeli doctors, would visit the hospital on December 9 and conduct eye surgeries for about a week.

The team, which had held eye camps in several countries, will bring their own equipment.

Booking for consultation is open from November 28 to December 2. Appointments can be arranged from 12pm to 4pm. IGMH said screening for the booked patients would be carried out from December 5-6.

IGMH currently has 16 departments for specialities and 71 specialists.
