Jabir appointed as Special Trade Representative of the President's Office

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has appointed prominent businessman and Chairman of Yacht Tours Abdulla Jabir as the Special Trade Representative of the President's Office.

President Office revealed that the Jumhoory Party Deputy Leader has been appointed to the post on ministerial level.

Jabir who was a former member of both Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) and Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP) was presented with the letter of appointment at the President’s Office Thursday.

During the ceremony, President’s Office said that Waheed had highlighted the experience of Jabir in the field of business and trade and also his continued contributions and services to the nation.
