A man has been arrested for sexually abusing his 12 year old step son.
Family member of the seventh grader living in Villamale said that the boy had revealed that his step father had been sexually abusing him for the past year. According to the family, the step father had abused the boy under intimidation.
The family member speaking to Haveeru added that the boy had told his mother of the abuse numerous times but his mother had refused to believe him. However, today the man had been caught red-handed, family said.
Family members had even videoed the step father while in the act which has now been handed over to the police.
Police have launched an investigation and had taken the statement of the 12 year old boy.
