A man who had been flagged on the red list by the Interpol following the Sultan Park Bombing of 2007 has been arrested at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Police revealed that Abdul Latheef Ibrahim 29 of Love Side, Thundi ward of Laamu Atoll Gan was arrested on his arrival from Pakistan last Sunday.
 
Total 61 people had been charged with terrorism over the bombing of Sultan Park which left many tourists injured and three of the men have been proven guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
