Police busted a brothel on Sunday night.
Police media official said that the brothel was busted in Shaha Medical Centre near ‘Maafannu Buru’ (previously Maafannu Gadi Buru) in a special operation carried out based on police intelligence.
Police did not disclose the number of arrests made however witnesses told Haveeru that the police apprehended three Thai women and two local men.
Police did not state that Shaha Medical Centre has been closed off due to the incident. Police official stated that it is gathering information about the case.
Lately increasing number of Medical Centres and Beauty Salons have been shut down for operating prostitution rings.
