Efforts are underway to promote Maldives on twitter.
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has said that the corporation will start promoting 'Sunny side of life' on twitter next Thursday to make it a global trend on the social networking giant.
The social media department of MMPRC stated that the corporation would be using the hash tag “#Sunnysideoflife” in an attempt to make it a global twitter trend under its policy of using social media platforms to promote the Maldives.
“To achieve this attempt, hash tags would be used while disseminating information about Maldives” MMPRC stated.
MMPRC detailed that information on travel agencies, airlines and tourism would be relayed through twitter.
The corporation stated that the official account for this campaign would be “@myvisitmaldives”.
