Maldives participates in Arab Travel Market

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Company (MMPRC) has said that Maldives had participated in the "Arab Travel Market 2012 (ATM)".

MMPRC said that it was the biggest fair aimed at the Arab travel agents and would be held from Monday till May 4 in Dubai.

MMPRC stated that 59 people from 33 companies will take part in the fair from Maldives, which included 16 resorts and 17 travel agents.

MMPRC stated that last year’s ATM fair was a success and that a 15 percent increase in visitors was observed last year than the previous year.

MMPRC added that many travel agencies and media personnel will participate in this year’s ATM fair. It also informed that Maldives can attract more tourists from the middle-east region by participating in the fair.

The company detailed that the participation in the fair will assist Maldives in achieving the target of welcoming one million tourists during the year.
