Kevin HartThere have been all sorts of personal appearances about her new Netflix special on the public show – but what Kevin himself says is not true, the chat is in no way about black women or demeaning them.
Earlier this week, “Is Kevin Hart funny ??” And engaging with dozens of real people in this matter.
The reason the group first started is because Kevin’s new comedy special, “Zero F ***s Given”, at one point he makes fun of his 15-year-old daughter, who says he has already seen “Hi Activity” from her.
Of course, Kevin mentions his daughter as a shovel – even jokingly – raised eyebrows, and those in the clubhouse decided to have an honest conversation whether he was promoting the degradation of black women by raising an ad, wisely or unknowingly. None other than his own child, he is still young.
Welch caught up with Kevin at the Clubhouse chat room and joined him – part of the conversation was captured by a third party and posted online. This thing seems to have gone on for at least 15 minutes, otherwise, there are a lot of voices in the room … sometimes everyone is talking at the same time or at different points from each other.
A lot of titles were included, but subject to reconsideration – which was later split on Twitter as well – with the impression that Kevin’s male fans had a tendency to shut up, write, and silence the black women who criticized Kevin. … They felt they were part of a toxic culture he was perpetuating.
Kevin responds quickly … and it is clear that he saw it as a constructive conversation with real people with different perspectives on him and his comedy. He insists the story that the whole clubhouse chat was aimed at black women or incited him against black women is completely false.
You can decide for yourself by listening to the conversation, but Kevin seems to like talking to people about it … but did not enjoy the analysis that followed – most of which were critical of him and his supporters.
PTW also touches on why Kevin started the Clubhouse chat, and says that the epidemic has forced his hand in gaining creativity for marketing and development. We’re all evolving, aren’t we?
