Glee alum Grant Gustin was “intimidated” by Naya Rivera‘s “talent” and “presence” through his time on the Fox smash.

The Flash star, who recurred on Glee for a few seasons as antagonist Sebastian Smythe, compensated tribute on Wednesday to his late co-star and “Smooth Criminal” duet husband or wife in a heartfelt Instagram publish, calling her death “truly unimaginable,” right before admitting, “I was intimidated by her talent and presence on set, but she was often so form and welcoming to me. So quite a few of my Glee recollections on and off set have Naya in them. She was a single of a kind.

“My coronary heart breaks for her family and close friends,” Gustin continued. “I’ll normally maintain Naya in my heart and keep in mind her for the strong, proficient and compassionate human being she was to me in the transient time I acquired to spend with her.
