Two single-motor planes collided in midair Thursday afternoon during firefighting routines in southeastern Nevada, according to stories.
Both pilots had been killed in the crash and a restoration effort and hard work was underway, FOX 5 of Las Vegas documented.
“We offer our sincere condolences to the families of the two pilots and to all those functioning with the BLM Nevada Ely District,” BLM Nevada Condition Director Jon Raby told the station.
